Track your truck
Track Your Truck: See Who's Coming and Where They Are
Waiting is easier when you can see it. Every Sentinel job comes with a driver card, a link to track your truck, and check-ins by text until help arrives.
Part 1
Your Driver Card
When a partner tow company accepts your job, their driver fills in a card through our job link. We text it to you right away. It shows:
- Your driver's name. So you know who to expect.
- Their photo. So you know the face.
- Their truck. The type and color, so you can spot it.
Match It Before You Hand Over Your Keys
At crash scenes and busy roadsides, people sometimes pull up offering a tow nobody called. Your driver card makes that easy to spot. If the truck or the driver doesn't match, don't hand over your keys. Text us or call 1-888-TOW-1213 first.
We have your location and your vehicle. Your price is locked below. If the bill is higher, you pay this price.
A local partner took your job. Here's your driver.
Checking in. Dana is on the way. Stay clear of traffic, and reply here anytime.
Part 2
Your Tracking Link
Your driver card text has a link. Tap it and a map opens in your web browser. No app, no account, no password.
- Where your truck is. A marker for the truck and a pin for you.
- When it should get there. An arrival time that updates as your driver moves.
- What's happening. Simple updates, like "on the way" and "arrived."
Honest About How It Works
The map uses the location from your driver's phone. It updates as they drive, but it isn't second-by-second. Phones drop signal on back roads, and some phones pause location when they're locked. When that happens, you'll see the last spot we got and a fresh arrival time. We'd rather tell you that here than have a frozen map surprise you at night.
Your link is just for your job. Share it only with people you trust. If you gave us a family number, we text them your location and arrival time too, under the Stay-With-You Promise.
Part 3
Your 4 Photos Before Hookup
On every tow, your driver photographs all four sides of your car before it's hooked up. The photos come to us through the job link, and we text them to you.
Why it matters: if you spot a new dent at the shop, you'll know whether it was there before the tow. The photos protect you and the partner. Nobody has to argue from memory.
Photos are taken when it's safe. If your car sits in a live lane, the driver may move it first. Every partner carries insurance. See what's included with a car tow.
Part 4

Questions
Tracking Questions
Is the map live GPS?
Not quite. It updates as your driver moves, using their phone's location. It can pause when their phone loses signal or locks. Then you'll see the last known spot and an updated arrival time.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The link opens in the web browser you already have.
What if the driver doesn't match my card?
Don't hand over your keys. Stay in your locked car if you feel unsafe, and text or call us. If you feel threatened, call 911.
Can I share my tracking link?
Yes, with people you trust. Anyone with the link can see the truck on its way to you, so don't post it publicly.
