The model
We Answer the Calls. You Run the Trucks.
Sentinel Towing is a towing and roadside network for the US and Canada. Drivers call our 24/7 line. We get their location, vehicle and problem, and we text them a locked price. Then we send the job to partners near them. The nearest available partner accepts it.
You do the job. We stay with the customer by text the whole time, so they're calmer when you pull up. They already know your driver's name, your truck and the price.
We're upfront with drivers about this on every page. They know a local tow company does the work, and that Sentinel sets the standard under our Stay-With-You Promise.
- Jobs near youTow and roadside jobs from drivers in your area, sent to your phone.
- Priced before you rollThe customer agreed to the price by text before you're dispatched. No haggling and no collecting at the curb.
- Your pickTake the jobs that fit your trucks and your schedule. Pass on the rest.
- No phone tagWe take the call, the questions and the follow-up texts.
Plain terms
How You Get Paid
The customer pays Sentinel, not your driver. We pay you for each job you complete, so your driver never has to collect money at the scene. Jobs you pass on cost you nothing. We'll walk you through the payout for each job type and when you get paid on a short call.
Areas are not exclusive. More than one partner may cover the same city. Jobs go to the nearest available partner with the right truck, so being close and ready is what wins work.
The work is light-duty only
- Tows for cars, SUVs, minivans and light pickups
- Jump starts, lockouts and flat tire changes
- Fuel delivery and winch-outs near the road
Not under our name
- Heavy-duty, RVs and motorcycles
- Long-distance tows
- Impounds and police rotation calls
The partner standard
What Every Partner Agrees To
Drivers trust us because we check before a truck shows up. So every partner meets the same standard, written into the partner agreement.
On every job
- Honor the locked price. The price we texted the customer is the price. If the job changes on scene, tell us through the job link. We text the customer a new price, and you wait for their OK.
- Send the driver card. Driver name, photo and truck, through our job link, when you accept.
- Share location on the way. Through the same link, so the customer can track the truck.
- Take 4 photos before hookup. Front, back and both sides, when it's safe, through the job link.
Before your first job
- Insurance. Proof of the commercial insurance a tow business needs. We'll go over what we ask for on the call.
- Licensing. The towing licenses and permits your city, state or province requires, and drivers licensed for the trucks they drive.
- Keep it current. Send updated proof when a policy or license renews.
- The customer's number is theirs. Call a customer about their job only. No marketing calls or texts, ever. Their text consent stays with Sentinel and is never shared with partners.

Questions
Partner Questions
Is my area exclusive?
No. Areas are not exclusive, and more than one partner may cover a city. Each job goes to the nearest available partner with the right truck.
Do I have to take every job?
No. Accept the jobs that fit your trucks and your day. Passing on a job costs you nothing. We pay you for the jobs you accept and complete.
What is the job link?
It's a web link we text to your driver for each job. It opens in the phone's browser, no app to install. Your driver uses it to fill in the driver card, share location on the way and send the 4 photos.
Who sets the price?
We text the customer a locked price before dispatch, and you see the job and the price before you accept. If the job changes on scene, it goes back to the customer for their OK first.
Can I text the customer?
Call them about their job if you need to. Texts to the customer come from Sentinel. Their text consent is never shared with partners, so no marketing messages of any kind.
