Fuel delivery
Out of Gas? Fuel Delivery to Wherever You Stopped
The gauge said empty and it meant it. Call. A local partner brings enough fuel to get you to the nearest gas station.
When fuel won't fix it
Three Times You Need a Tow Instead
Your electric car ran out of charge
We can't bring a charge to the roadside. An EV with an empty main battery needs a tow to the nearest charger. Many EVs should ride on a flatbed, so tell us what you drive.
You put the wrong fuel in
Diesel in a gas car, or gas in a diesel? Don't start it. Don't even turn the key. Running the engine spreads the wrong fuel through the system. It needs a tow to a shop to drain the tank.
It still won't start after fuel
Some cars need a few tries to pull fuel back up after running dry. If it still won't catch, something else may be wrong. We'll text you a tow price, and you choose.
Driving a diesel?
Say so on the call. Not every partner carries diesel, so we'll check before we send anyone.
Some diesel engines also need their fuel system bled after running dry. That can turn a fuel run into a tow. We'll tell you up front.
While you wait
Don't Walk to the Gas Station
On a highway, the station might look close. Walking there on the shoulder, often with a gas can in the dark, is one of the riskier things you can do. Stay with your car, hazards on, and let the fuel come to you.
- Stay buckled in if you're on a busy road and can't get well away from traffic.
- Keep your phone charged for our check-ins and your driver card.
- Fill up at the first station you pass. The delivery is only enough to get you there.
Why Did It Run Dry?
Sometimes you just pushed it. But if the gauge showed fuel and the car still quit, get it checked. A faulty gauge or a fuel pump problem can strand you again. Ask us to point you to a repair shop. It's one of our seven promises.
The Stay-With-You Promise
Running on Empty, Not on Hope
A fuel run comes with the same promises as a tow: check-ins while you wait, a driver card and a price locked by text.
We stay with you. From your call until the truck arrives, we check on you by text.
See your driver before they arrive. You get their name, photo and truck by text, and you can track your truck on a map.
Your family knows too. Give us one number, and we text them your location and arrival time.
Photo-protected tow. Before hookup, your driver photographs all 4 sides of your vehicle. We text you the photos.
Price locked by text. You get your price by text before we dispatch. That price is the most you pay for the job. If the job changes, we text a new price first and you decide.
Never stranded after. Ride along in the truck when it's safe and allowed, or we help you get a ride. We also point you to a good repair shop.
Free Sentinel Circle. After your first job, your vehicle is on file. Next time, just text "TOW" for priority dispatch.
Questions
Fuel Delivery Questions
How much gas do you bring?
Enough to get you to the nearest station, not a full tank. Once you're rolling, fill up at the first pump you see.
Can you charge my electric car?
No. For an EV that's out of charge, we send a tow to the nearest charger instead. Tell us the make and model so the right truck comes.
Is the fuel included in my price?
Your texted price is what you pay for the visit. If anything about the job changes, we text you a new price first, and you decide.
Car won't start even with gas? It may be the battery. See jump starts or all roadside services.
